TOP 100 Swiss Startups 2015
24. September 2015The TOP 100 Swiss Startups have been announced last week in Lausanne. You ask yourself why the big event moved from Zurich to Lausanne? Out of the TOP 10 six startups are from Romandy, the French-speaking part of Switzerland, and the three winners are all from Lausanne. The engineering school EPFL in Lausanne did an amazing job supporting startups in the last five years. Check out the infographic about the Swiss startup ecosystem:

According to global innovation rankings, Switzerland is recognized as a true innovation champion worldwide. After the TOP100 Swiss Startup Award gala in Lausanne on September 16th, 2015, the audience knows why. Startups which are based on high level research from internationally renowned Swiss universities catch the attention of worldwide industry leaders. Not surprising that U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland in Bern Suzan LeVine was also present to discover this year’s best 100 Swiss startups chosen for the fifth time by 100 Swiss innovation experts.
